Rebecca's Japanese friend, Amateratsu, and her grandfather come to visit. When her grandfather vanishes,
Amateratsu believes he is on a sacred journey, but in truth the League of Darkness has kidnapped him in hopes of learning the secret of his spiritual powers.
Jules is infatuated with Amateratsu, and tries to
protect her from the League's henchmen. Unfortunately, his abilities fall short of his intentions and the two are taken captive.
Rebecca and Phileas arm themselves for a daring rescue.
