General Steele, the newly appointed Commander of West Point has been kidnapped by persons unknown, sparking an international
incident between the United States and British Canada. To prevent war, Phileas agrees to lend the Aurora to the search effort. They track the missing General across the beautiful Canadian countryside, and discover that
there is far more to his disappearance than first believed.
Phileas is accused of treason. Verne indulges his fantasy of living like the native people of the Americas. Passepartout gets clubbed over the head. And
Rebecca goes over the waterfall in a barrel... all before they even encounter their old nemesis, Count Gregory of the League of Darkness.
Then the fun really begins!
